About John.

John Cassidy is an art photographer based in NE England who sees the world from a totally different perspective. 

Creative, original, unique. John is an entirely self taught but immensely talented photographer who has turned his challenges into a superpower. Dyslexic with Irlens Syndrome (He doesn't wear the turquoise glasses just to look cool in a retro 90s kinda way. Honest…) John has spent his life battling odds and succeeding in areas he had no right to. A former teacher and current call centre monkey, photography has always been a release, an escape, a way of communicating without words. With a phenomenal eye for detail and a passion for the great outdoors, John has the innate ability to create art from what he sees. 

Blessed by living in a very picturesque part of the country, John is on a mission to give an original take on the chocolate box-y touristy snaps of the well known and lesser known landmarks of the region. Technically brilliant but with the added wow factor, John’s art needs to be seen.
